Me in brief:

I am currently a PostdoctoralResearcher at Security and Systems team of LRE epita. Prior to joining epita in September 2025, I obtained my PhD degree from Sorbonne University in December 2024 under the direction of Prof.Lina Mroueh. During my PhD thesis, I worked on utilization of knowledge-based systems for detection of cyberattacks inside Internet of Things (IoT) environments.

Short Bio

Abdul Qadir Khan received his PhD from Sorbonne University in 2024. He obtained his Master’s degree in Computer Engineering from University Côte d’Azur, Nice, France, in 2021 and his Bachelor’s in Telecommunication from Hazara University, Mansehra, Pakistan, with distinction in 2018. His research interests include the Internet of Things, Cybersecurity and privacy, and Knowledge base systems. Currently, Abdul Qadir Khan is working as a Post-doctoral researcher at EPITA.

Research Interests

My research focuses on designing efficient and explainable security mechanisms for large-scale and resource-constrained IoT environments. Moreover, I am also interested in topics related to knowledge Engineering and representation.
