Me in brief:
Member of the Security and Systems group of the LRE.
Associate Professor at EPITA Paris.
My work focuses on software and systems performance, with particular interest in high-performance computing, virtualization, and resource management.
Short Bio
I am an Associate Professor at EPITA Paris and a member of the Security and Systems group of the LRE.
I hold a PhD in Computer Science from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, an MSc in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Sergipe, and a BSc in Computer Science from Universidade Federal Rural de Pernambuco.
My research lies at the intersection of software and hardware performance, systems, and distributed computing. I work on the performance evaluation of virtualized and containerized infrastructures, the parallelization and analysis of algorithms, and resource management in pervasive systems.
Research Interests
High-performance computing (HPC), with a focus on performance evaluation, benchmarking, and experimental analysis.
Virtualization and containerization, including the study of virtual machines, containers, and related infrastructures from a performance and resource-usage perspective.
Parallel and distributed systems, including algorithm parallelization and the evaluation of systems software.
Resource management in pervasive systems, especially context-aware and policy-driven approaches for adaptive execution environments.
Teaching
Since joining EPITA, I have taught and supervised activities in systems, Linux/Unix administration, parallel programming, signal processing, data structures, networking, object-oriented modelling, and advanced algorithms. I also supervise final-year apprenticeship projects.
My teaching activities include:
- Unix System Administration
- Introduction to Linux
- Introduction à la programmation Parallèle
- Structures de données
- Elément Réseau
- Modélisation / Modélisation objets
- Approche orienté objet
- Algorithmique avancée
