The Image Processing and Pattern Recognition group welcomes 4 new interns for the 2025 Spring semester:
- Johanne Randrianandrasana for her end of study internship (M2) from the Université Paul Sabatier, Toulouse, between January 20th 2025 and June, 20th 2025. She will be working on the subject Innovative IA-based classification of blazars using multiwaveband VLBI and Gaia astrometry and photometry with application to the realization of extragalactic reference frames and will be jointly supervised by Guillaume Tochon (TIRF) and Sébastien Lambert (Laboratoire Temps-Espace, Observatoire de Paris).
- Martin de Montille for his end of study internship (M2) from INSA Lyon, between March 3rd 2025 and August 28th 2025. He will be working on the subject Challenges in blood vessel segmentation, from ground truth to loss functions: A study on the impact of annotation quality on vascular segmentation results and will be jointly supervised by Élodie Puybareau (TIRF), Odyssée Merveille (CREATIS, INSA LYON) and Pierre-Henri Conze (LaTIM, IMT-Atlantique).
- Wajd Ali for his end of study internship (M2) from tthe Université de Lille, between March 31st and September 26th 2025. He will be working on the subject AI-Assisted Spectral Image Analysis for Meteorite Classification and will be jointly supervised by Jonathan Fabrizio (ITRF), Élodie Puybareau (TIRF), Guillaume Tochon (TIRF), Maximilien Verdier-Paoletti (Museum National d'Histoire Naturelle) and Arthur France-Lanord (IMPMC, Sorbonne Université).
- Joël Féral for his end of study internship (M2) from the École Nationale des Chartes (PSL Université), Paris, between April 1st 2025 and July 31st 2025. He will be working on the subject Establishing and validatin, within the Mezanno project, a methodology for large-scale extraction of structured data from institutional archives (with a focus on parliamentary debates of the French Third Republic) and will be jointly supervised by Joseph Chazalon (TIRF), Marie Puren (MNSHS) and Jean-Philippe Moreux (Bibliothèque Nationale de France).
